We stock a range of Galvanised (Galv or HDG) Nyloc nuts to DIN985 in grade 8 high tensile steel. They are the type T specification and they have a nylon insert to provide locking properties. These have a Galvanised (Galv or HDG) finish for improved water-resistance and rust-proofing. They need to be used in conjunction with galvanised bolts or setscrews as the threads are undercut to suit the thickness of coating on the bolts. They are unsuitable for applications where heat is involved.
