Round Stainless steel hank bushes, also known as stainless steel round self-clinching standoffs, stainless steel round hank nuts or stainless steel round rivet provide strong reusable captivated threads in panels too thin to be conventionally tapped and are versatile fasteners used to provide spacing, support, and threaded connections in sheet metal applications. These bushings have a round shape with a threaded interior and a knurled or serrated exterior surface.

Manufactured from robust Stainless steel, round hank bushes offer excellent strength and resistance to wear and corrosion and are designed to create secure and permanent connections between panels or components, ensuring a reliable and stable assembly.

The self-clinching design of round hank bushes allows for easy installation by pressing or squeezing them into a properly sized hole in the sheet metal. The knurled or serrated exterior surface enhances their grip within the sheet metal, preventing rotation or loosening.

Once installed, round hank bushes provide a threaded hole, enabling the insertion of screws, bolts, or other threaded fasteners. This facilitates convenient attachment or adjustment of components in a wide range of applications, including electronics, telecommunications, and industrial equipment.

Available in a stainless steel grade which is equivalent to the A2 (304) stainless fastener grade. We stock diameters ranging from M3 to M10 and these are available to suit a range of material thicknesses from 10Gauge (3mm thick) to 20Gauge (1mm thick). These round rivets bushes typically have a serrated face which helps to lock them into the parent material. They are also available with a serrated spigot upon request.
