High strength or heavy duty clinch studs have a thicker and larger head than that of standard clinch studs. The larger head increases the strength of the stud in terms of torque out and pull out. The larger head also means that the head does not sit flush with the sheet and does protrude slightly. We stock a range of these studs which are manufactured from hardened stainless steel.
